The Columbia River, gateway to the Inland Empire for ships from all over the world, flows from the east in this view looking northeast.

This view south, along the Coast Range, shows Saddle Mountain, the highest point in the north Coast Range, at 3283'.

Saddle Mountain is on the left horizon with Tillamook Head (1200'), near the center. This view looks toward Fort Clatsop in the forested area near the Lewis and Clark River on the right.
